Meet Elsa May

Some dogs are special.

And then there are the once-in-a-lifetime dogs who quietly leave pawprints on every heart they touch.

Marino’s Elsa May is one of those dogs.

Born on December 5, 2021, Elsa represents everything we have spent years striving to preserve and perfect within Marino’s Precious Cavaliers. She is proudly a fourth-generation homebred girl, carrying forward a legacy that means more to us than words can adequately express.

Elsa is the daughter of our gorgouse Russian import, Allegro Sonata Hamilton, whose beauty, structure, and gentle temperament have made an unforgettable impact on our program. Through her mother’s side, she traces back to some of the most treasured dogs we have ever owned, including her grandmother Mila, now enjoying her well-earned retirement, and her great-grandmother Aria, a girl who will forever hold a sacred place in our hearts.

Her pedigree is a collection of our favorites.

Her grandfather Ragnar contributed the loving temperament and devotion we cherish so deeply, while generations of carefully selected dogs have come together to create something truly special in Elsa. In many ways, she is the living embodiment of everything we love about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

But while her pedigree is impressive, it is Elsa’s heart that makes her unforgettable.

She is our youngest son Rylin’s heart dog—the kind of bond that cannot be taught and cannot be explained. Every night, Elsa curls up beside him and drifts off to sleep, faithfully ending each day exactly where she wants to be.

Her best friend is our resident gentle giant, Ryver, an Aussiedoodle who adores her just as much as she adores him. The two share a friendship that is impossible not to smile at. Whether they are playing, exploring, or simply lounging together, their connection is something truly special to witness.

And then there is Elsa’s personality.

She possesses that rare Cavalier magic that makes people instantly fall in love. The moment you meet her, you understand why she is one of our all-time favorite girls. Her soft expression, sweet nature, and endless desire to be close to her people make her completely irresistible.

She is the dog who climbs into your lap without invitation and somehow convinces you that she belongs there.

The dog who follows you from room to room simply because she enjoys your company.

The dog who melts into your arms and reminds you why Cavaliers are often called the ultimate companions.

Above all else, Elsa is love wrapped in fur.

She is gentle, affectionate, devoted, and endlessly loyal. She represents generations of dedication, careful breeding, and heartfelt dreams. More importantly, she represents the reason we do what we do.

She is not just part of our breeding program.

She is part of our family.

And she always will be.
